The midfielder has fell out of favour under Zinedine Zidane, and Manchester United and Chelsea are just two of the teams reportedly keen

JAMES RODRIGUEZ could be on his way out the Real Madrid door as FIVE clubs battle to sign the South American star.

The midfielder has fallen out of favour under manager Zinedine Zidane, and didn't feature at all in Los Blancos' triumphant Club World Cup final.

Rodriguez has also added to the speculation, by recently saying: "I can’t promise I will stay at Real Madrid. I have offers and seven days to think [about them]."

Real Madrid are thought to have slapped a whopping price tag of £75million on his head, with the La Liga leaders hoping to make a profit on the £63million they paid for him back in 2014.

The most likely destination would be the lure of the Premier League, with Antonio Conte's side thought to be winning the race to secure his services.

With Oscar set to sign for Shanghai SIPG for up to £60million, the Blues will have the cash to spend big in January, and could look to the 25-year-old to help them regain the English title.

However, he is represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes, who has a long standing affiliation with Manchester United and is the agent Jose Mourinho.

But a move to the Red Devils appears unlikely, with AS reporting that they would need to offload players in order to bring him in, most notably Anthony Martial.

A move to Italy and Juventus could tempt the former Porto man. The Old Lady tried to snap him up in the summer but they were rebuffed, and eventually signed Roma's Miralem Pjanic instead.

Inter Milan are looking to restore themselves to former glory, and with a project in place, Real Madrid's number ten could relish being the main man for a club.

Mega-rich PSG would provide Rodriguez with a return to Ligue 1, as he spent a season playing for Monaco before he caught the world's attention at the World Cup in 2014.

The Parisian side are struggling domestically this season, and a new marquee signing could be the boost Unai Emery's team need.
