Man Utd ‘want to bring in transfer guru’ after woeful start but face fight with Tottenham and PSG interested
MANCHESTER UNITED are reportedly keen on snatching away Atletico Madrid's sporting director after their woeful start to the season.
Andrea Berta has been with the Spanish giants for a decade and has garnered an impressive reputation for signing the right players.
United have struggled in recent years to get the right faces through the door after spending big money on players who have failed to live up to the hype.
Most recently the £47m signing of Andre Onana this summer is yet to show his worth while £73m man Jadon Sancho is currently exiled from the club despite arriving with huge expectation.
And according to , Berta is being eyed by the Red Devils with his transfer record being one thing that has caught the eye.
A potential deal is understood to not have any impact on United's current managing director John Murtough though.
