Fans shocked at Brooks Koepka’s US Ryder Cup pic as they say ‘wait until Paige Spiranac sees this’
BROOKS Koepka stunned golf fans by getting his US Ryder Cup team-mates to wear LIV golf merch.
The 33-year-old left the PGA last year to join the Saudi-backed rebel tour.
His USA team-mates Rickie Fowler, Sam Burns, Max Homa and Xander Schauffele all remained loyal to the PGA Tour.
But over the weekend Koepka, 33, managed to get the quartet to wear LIV T-shirts.
The foursome donned blue tees with "Smash" written on - the team that Koepka captains on the LIV Tour.
Koepka grinned as he posed between the four stars.
He later posted the snap to his social media accounts, captioning it: "I make money moves."
Rory McIlroy has been staunch in his opposition of the LIV breakaway.
Commenting on Koepka's picture, one fan joked: "Rory is in absolute shambles rn."
While a second similarly quipped: "Rory is going to cry when he sees this."
Another added: "Looks like some heavy LIV recruiting right there!"
And LIV player Bryson DeChambeau commented: "Smashed it."
Influencer Paige Spiranac has also been outspoken about the LIV Tour.
Seeing Koepka's post, one Twitter user responded, along with a laughing emoji: "Wait till @PaigeSpiranac sees this."
Koepka and Co were well beaten by Team Europe over the weekend.
The US were defeated 16.5-11.5 in Rome, Italy.
Earlier this year, the PGA announced a shock merger with the LIV Tour.
Responding to the news at the time, Spiranac hoped that the move would see the world's best players frequently competing in the same events once again.

She said: "You know what i'm going to do? I'm going to sit back and watch all this play out.
"But here's some positives. Just like what Rory [McIlroy] said in his press conference, ultimately this is going to be great for the game of golf and especially for us as fans."
