GOLF fans loved what ‘Colonel Sanders’ did after he jumped into the lake at the Ryder Cup.
The brilliant scene unfolded as Team Europe clinched victory over their American rivals in Rome on Sunday.
Tommy Fleetwood went two up against Rickie Fowler on the 16th hole to ensure the win with just half a point.
And the excitement got too much for one older fan, who sprinted across the green before diving into the lake.
The white-haired gentleman was dubbed ‘Colonel Sanders’ by adoring fans due to his similarities with the famous KFC founder.
But new footage has emerged showing him engaging with the crowd after his first celebratory jump.

Coming out of the water, the man began making his way off the green before turning round and jumping back into the lake.
Supporters cheered as he gave a wave in celebration.
But the gentleman then went a step further as he began a round of Team Europe’s trademark Viking Thunder Clap.
He was loving life as the crowd joined in, raising the decibel level in Italy’s capital.

And after getting another round of applause, the man jumped back into the lake for a third time to cap off a moment he will never forget.
Fans certainly loved the ‘Colonel’ and his new actions, with one saying: “That was epic!”
Another declared: “Golf is turning into the darts.”
One noted: “I love it!”
Another added: “This is my hero.”
