With a mega £500,000-a-week offer on the table from China, Sanchez has given a warning to the Arsenal board
ALEXIS SANCHEZ has told Arsenal: Come up with the right money if you really want me.
The Gunners have offered their star striker a new £180,000-a-week deal — still way short of the £300k a week he wants.
With a mega £500,000-a-week offer on the table from China, Sanchez warned the Arsenal board: “It doesn’t depend on me as much as it does the club if they want to show confidence in me.”
SunSport exclusively revealed yesterday ex-Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is ready to make Sanchez, 27, the world’s highest-paid player at Chinese club Hebei China Fortune.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger admitted he is powerless to stop the Chilean moving when his current £130,000-a-week Emirates contract ends in 18 months.
Wenger said: “If people want to go to China, they go to China.
“I have completely different worries than China ahead of Sunday’s Manchester City game.”
