Billy Sharp takes aim at Wrexham owner Ryan Reynolds as former Prem star bags first MLS hat-trick for LA Galaxy

FORMER Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp has taken aim at Wrexham owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

The LA Galaxy star who fired his first hat-trick for the MLS team last night booted the A-list owners out of the FA Cup earlier this year.

In January Wrexham and Sheffield United played out an exciting 3-3 draw at the Racecourse Ground.

Reynolds and McElhenney's side took the lead in the 86th minute but the Blades managed to send the game to a fourth round replay after John Egan 95th minute goal.

The replay took place a week later at Bramall Lane in another dramatic encounter going 1-1 into injury time.

But the Championship side saw Sharp score in the 94th minute - followed by teammate Sander Berge scoring in the 96th minute.

The Englishman the made the headline following his involvement in a scrap between both set of players after the games.

With Wrexham docuseries second season of 'Welcome to Wrexham' now aired Sharp looks forward to watching the clash unfold.

The 37-year-old has jokingly mocked the Hollywood chiefs after dumping them out the championship.

Sharp in an interview with sarcastically demanded the A-list owners to make a documentary about him dumping them out the FA Cup.

He said: "If they want to put me in the documentary, go ahead."

Meanwhile, the striker has now departed ways with his boyhood club and joined MLS giants LA Galaxy.

During his three-year spell at Sheffield United Sharp made a whopping 377 appearances and scored 129 goals.

Sharp continued: "I think people in Los Angeles probably know me now for scoring goals rather than knocking Wrexham out of the FA Cup.

"People don’t even know the real story. Wrexham will put out what they want to on their documentary, and maybe I’ll put out my own and tell them what really happened.";

In last nights game against Minnesota United Sharp was the golden boy after scoring his first ever hat-trick for the American side - leading the team to a 4-3 victory.
