WWE legend Vince McMahon looks unrecognizable in odd TKO announcement profile as fans compare him to comic book villain

VINCE McMahon's fresh new look has left wrestling fans with their jaws on the floor.

The former WWE boss, 78, appeared unrecognizable in a new company photo taken to celebrate the recent TKO merger.

McMahon announced in April that he agreed to sell the WWE to investors from the Endeavor group for $9.3billion. 

McMahon is now the executive chairman of the WWE's parent company TKO, which merged with the Ultimate Fighting Championship earlier this week.

He will serve as the executive chair of the new enterprise while owning 16 percent.

But McMahon's new profile picture taken following the merger has sent the internet into meltdown, per .

The 78-year-old was seen cast in shadow in the snap which went viral on social media, being viewed over 1million times in 24 hours.

Sporting a mustache and jet-black hair, McMahon looked noticeably younger than his 78 years as he posed in a navy suit.

Fans flocked onto X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts on Vince's new look.

One fan laughed: "He looks like a 60s comic book villain."

Another said: "Why does it look AI generated?"

A third added: "He looks different, very different."

And a fourth commented: "Good evening, Mr Bond."

A fifth simply said: "Is that really him??"

Following the TKO merger, a number of WWE execs are in line for huge bonuses totaling $32million.

Current chief content officer and former WWE champion Triple H will pocket $5million from the deal.

On Tuesday he shared his excitement for the future on the social media platform X.

He : "A historic day. The most exciting time in our industry that I’ve ever been a part of. Are you ready?"
