COLTRANE (3.00 Doncaster, nap)
He ran right up to his best when winning the Lonsdale Cup at York last time. He travelled sweetly under Oisin Murphy before picking up well for a convincing success. He was a battling second in the Ascot Gold Cup so has no issue with this longer trip and he showed a liking for this track when winning this race 12 months ago.
BARADAR (4.45 Doncaster, nb)
He should have his ideal conditions here with a little bit of give in the ground. He took full advantage when winning a hot contest at Ascot when last seen in July and has had a little break since. A 4lb rise is fair and William Buick on board is a plus.
INQUISITIVELY (2.25 Doncaster, treble)
She looked a top prospect when taking a York Listed contest in style. She was always up with the sharp pace before engaging turbo boost to score by two lengths. William Buick stays on board, which is a plus, and there’s more to come.

Ralph Beckett has plenty of debut winners and his Morning Light has the benefit of Ryan Moore on board. She is bred to enjoy this trip as a two-year-old.
Andrew Balding introduces Lasting Love who was a relatively expensive buy at £300,000. She will want further in time but should know her job first time out.

Marie Ellen showed some promise when second on debut at Leicester. She was very green there so should learn from the experience.

Owen Burrows’ hope tanked along before drawing right away from his rivals. This is a hike in class but he can improve enough to win.

Dancing Gemini ran well when scoring at Newbury and wouldn’t have to improve much to figure.
