Amir Khan and Floyd Mayweather pose for a picture as Conor McGregor fight draws close
After failing to land a super fight with Floyd 'Money' Mayweather the Bolton born fighter has the upmost respect for the American
AMIR KHAN shows that he has nothing but respect for Floyd Mayweather after posing for a photo with him at the World Boxing Council convention in Miami.
The two boxing stars attended the 54th annual convention - where they celebrated the life of sporting legend Muhammad Ali.
The pair both shared smiles as they posed for a photo at the event, which also had Vitali Klitschko, Tony Bellew and Evander Holyfield in attendance.

Despite his best efforts to land a super fight with Mayweather, the Bolton born boxer insists there is still 'love' between the two stars.
The 30-year-old said: "Good to see Floyd Mayweather. Even though we never fought, the love is still there between us."
Khan is not the only one who is seeking to get in the ring with Mayweather, with Conor McGregor also pushing for a fight with the retired fighter.
Khan did not let the convention pass him by as he also grabbed a picture with Bellew - who is fighting David Haye in March - and Winky Wright.
Khan was furious with Mayweather once he decided to retire from boxing with an undefeated record, claiming he chose the easy way out instead of fighting himself.
He told TMZ Sport in February: "We thought we got very close to making that fight happen.
"Floyd, to be honest, is too scared to fight me. I did everything to make that fight happen.
"I spoke to my team, and I even said "I'll fight you for free", just to show the world that I'm a better fighter than him, but he just didn't want to fight me and wanted the easy way out."
But despite failing to land a mega-money bout with Mayweather, KhAn is aiming to box again January, after his knockout defeat to Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.
In September he said: "I want to fight again in January, then in May and again before the end of 2017.
"I'm going to start training and make sure my hand is fully recovered. I don't want to rush into a fight at the end of this year.
"I want my next fight to be in Britain. I know it's going to have to be a tune-up, having lost the Canelo fight, and also having had the hand surgery."
