Chelsea outcast Kepa takes brutal swipe at club and Boehly after Real Madrid loan as he appears to cut ties with Blues
OUTCAST goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga appears to have cut ties with Chelsea.
That’s after taking a brutal swipe at the Blues and owner Todd Boehly following his loan to Real Madrid.
Kepa, 28, remains the most expensive stopper in the world following his £71.6million move to Chelsea from Athletic Bilbao in 2018.
However, the Spain international failed to hit the heights required at Stamford Bridge.
And after 163 games between the sticks for the Blues, Kepa completed a season-long loan move to Real Madrid this summer as cover for the injured Thibaut Courtois.
He has since made two appearances for his new club.

But it appears Kepa plans on sticking around in the Spanish capital after seemingly cutting ties with Chelsea.
The goalie, who admits former Blues boss Thomas Tuchel also tried signing him for Bayern Munich, claims Boehly’s Stamford Bridge project “was not the right one.”
Kepa adds Mauricio Pochettino was desperate for him to stay at Chelsea.
But he plans on sticking around at the Bernabeu for some time to come.

Kepa said: “It’s true that Pochettino wanted me to stay and he told me that I was going to play, that he trusted me.
“But I thought a change would be good for me. I wanted a change.
“Thomas Tuchel called me. We were close to going to Munich.
“I felt it was time for a change of scenery. I wanted to stay but I felt that the project was not the right one.
“When Madrid calls you, everything changes. My signing was closed in just a few hours and a couple of calls.
“My intention is to stay for more than a year.”
