Liverpool ‘agree £34m Ryan Gravenberch transfer with Bayern Munich star flying to UK for medical’

LIVERPOOL have reportedly agreed a fee with Bayern Munich for midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.

The Reds have been in the hunt for a new midfielder after allowing James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Fabinho to all leave this summer.

The have reported that Liverpool has agreed to pay Bayern £34million for the Dutchman.

The report also claims that the former Ajax prospect will sign a long-term contract at Anfield.

The 21-year-old is said to be en route to Liverpool tonight ahead of undergoing a medical tomorrow.

Gravenberch only joined Bayern last summer from Ajax but only started three games all season.

This campaign he has only featured once under manager Thomas Tuchel, as he came off the bench against Augsburg last weekend.

Overall he made 34 appearances in all competitions for the Bundesliga champions, scoring one goal.

The lack of game time has seen the Dutchman become determined to leave the club this summer as he wants to play more.

The report has suggested that the deal to bring Gravenberch to Liverpool has been negotiated by Jose Fortes Rodriguez.

Gravenberch was highly rated during his time at Ajax as he made 103 appearances for the first team.

During this period he scored 12 goals and assisted 13 more, which saw him earn his £16m move to Bayern.

Liverpool are currently fourth in the Premier League having not lost any of their first three matches.

The Reds have beaten both Bournemouth and Newcastle but drew to Chelsea on the opening day of the season.

The club has already signed midfielders Alexis Mac Allister, Wataru Endō and Dominik Szoboszlai this summer.
