Marc Cucurella open to Man Utd loan transfer after growing ‘disappointed’ at Chelsea
MARC CUCURELLA is ‘open’ to a loan move to Manchester United in a bid to prove himself all over again as a Premier League player.
Chelsea are pondering a bid from their rivals to take the Spanish defender on a season-long deal.
Cucurella, 25, is up for going in order to get his career back on track at club and country level.
He has not featured in any Chelsea game since the Champions League quarter final defeat to Real Madrid in April.
Ben Chilwell has taken over the left back slot since the arrival of new head coach Mauricio Pochettino - leaving Cucurella facing an uncertain future.
Last season the £62m star struggled to win over Chelsea fans.

And he also battled with personal problems following a break-in at his home after moving to London.
Manchester United need cover for crocked left backs Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
Chelsea want a loan fee of around £6million.
But they are not keen on establishing a price for a permanent deal at present because they know they will not get anywhere near the fee paid for Cucurella last year.

Sources at Stamford Bridge say Cucurella is disappointed not to have been given more opportunities to play since the arrival of Pochettino in July.
And that even when picked, he has sometimes been played out of his natural position.
Cucurella has also been told by Luis de la Fuente, head coach of Spain’s men’s team, that he needs to be playing in order to be considered for the national squad in the run up to next summer’s Euros in Germany.
