Luton join transfer race for Arsenal outcast Rob Holding but face competition from Champions League side
ARSENAL defender Rob Holding is being eyed up by Luton but they face competition from two La Liga sides, according to reports.
Holding, 27, is way down the pecking order at the Emirate and has not featured yet this season.
He only has one year left on his deal and boss Mikel Arteta is ready to let him leave this summer.
new boys Luton are interested after their move for Newcastle's Issac Hayden has stalled.
They join Premier League rivals Wolves and Crystal Palace who are both said to have been set on the centre-back.
But Holding could be heading abroad with a pair of Spanish sides keen, according to transfer guru .

He claims Mallorca and Sevilla have both approached the Gunners to sound out a deal.
And Sevilla would have the added sway of offering Champions League football.
Holding made 14 appearances in the league last season but will struggle even more for game time this season after the arrivals of Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice.
He joined the Gunners in 2016 for an initial fee of £2million from Bolton.

The defender has gone on to play 162 times for the North Londoners, helping them win the FA Cup twice.
But Holding is now on the hunt for regular playing time elsewhere with his future at the Emirates being uncertain.
Turkish side Besiktas last month offered the Premier League side £2.1million for the defender.
However, the bid was far below what the Gunners would consider to accept.
Holding is not the only Arsenal star who could be departing this week as Mikel Arteta looks to move on several other players before Friday's 11pm deadline.
That list includes Nicolas Pepe, Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga.
