The Wyatt Family was an American professional wrestling group in WWE.
They debuted on WWE in November 2012, with two members going on to win the NXT Tag Team Championship.
They then went on to debut on the main roster in July 2013 as a villainous group who would terrorise other WWE wrestlers.
What are the names of the Wyatt family?
The Wyatt family was originally made up of Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, and Luke Harper, however this went on to change.
The original group began to go their separate ways in September 2014, after Wyatt announced he was "setting Harper and Rowan free".
In July 2015, the family reunited, with Braun Strowman joining.
Strowman was later withdrawn in 2016 but later that year Randy Orton joined and The Wyatt Family won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.
As of 2023, only Randy Orton and Braun Strowman currently work with WWE.
Why did the Wyatt family break up?
The Wyatt family has changed up multiple times over the years.
Reasons for this include reported feuds as well as WWE just wanting to mix it up.
The regular disbanding of the group also leaves them being able to reform at any time.
What happened to Bray Wyatt?
It was announced that Bray Wyatt died at the age of 36 on August 24, 2023.
According to Fightful, the wrestler reportedly suffered a heart attack.
WWE legend Triple H shared the news on X, formerly known as Twitter.
In a heartbreaking statement, he announced: "Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda - also known as Bray Wyatt - unexpectedly passed earlier today.
"Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time."
Meanwhile, legend Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson said: "I'm heartbroken over the news of Bray Wyatt’s passing. Always had tremendous respect and love for him and the Rotunda family."
