WINDHAM Rotunda, known to WWE fans as Bray Wyatt, was reportedly not wearing a doctor-issued defibrillator at the time of his death.
Windham's immediate family members have revealed the WWE star had COVID in March 2023 which led to heart complications and a weaker lower heart, reported.
Doctors reportedly advised Windham to continue to wear an external heart defibrillator which is a device designed to treat people experiencing sudden cardiac arrest.
Officials revealed that the wrestler was not wearing the device when he died and later found it in his car.
Windham reportedly told his fiancée he was going to take a nap on Thursday and she became worried once she heard his alarm going off for more than an hour, according to police records.
The WWE star's fiancée called 911 while her mother attempted CPR after finding him in bed not breathing and turning blue, police records revealed.
Windham reportedly died from a heart attack, according to Fightful reporter Sean Ross Sapp, but the star's family has not yet released a cause of death.

WWE Monday Night Raw paid tribute to Bray Wyatt tonight with a beautiful tribute.
The show paid tribute to Bray's character by playing the wrestler's original theme as fireflies lit up the event - and an empty rocking chair was shown on the stage.
Stars broke down in tears over death
Tears streamed down the faces of Bray Wyatt's fellow WWE wrestlers during an emotional tribute on Friday Night SmackDown as a heartbreaking showed clips of Wyatt with his family and in the ring.
The video started with the beloved wrestler's iconic walkout with his lantern.
It went on to feature a series of touching clips showcasing Wyatt's storied career and images of his children and fiancée, Jojo Offerman.
WWE stars Cody Rhodes, Finn Balor, Luke Gallows, and AJ Styles were seen on stage overcome with emotion.

In July 2015, the family reunited, with Braun Strowman joining.
Strowman was later withdrawn in 2016 but later that year Randy Orton joined and The Wyatt Family won the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.
Unfortunately, the group lost two of its members including Bray Wyatt who passed away in August 2023.
Luke Harper also passed away tragically in December 2020.

During Bray Wyatt's WWE career, he fought in the popular stable named the Wyatt Family.
The group rose to stardom back in 2012 and became a staple in the WWE world.
It was originally formed by Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, and Luke Harper.
The original group began to go their separate ways in September 2014, after Wyatt announced he was "setting Harper and Rowan free."
Arsenal pays tribute to Bray Wyatt
The 13-time English League champions played Wyatt's WWE theme song "Broken in Love" by Mark Crozer.
The Emirates has had a special tie with WWE for a while now, with the stadium's DJ often playing wrestlers' theme songs.
In 2021, the Gunners walked out to WWE wrestler Kane's theme song for a home draw with Manchester United.
They also played Kurt Angle's theme tune at half-time that same year.
Fans loved the tribute to Wyatt, with one saying: "Those in charge of Arsenal's music are 100% wrestling fans, Angles music, "The Game" all played before."
Another said: "Arsenal always plays wrestling themes at half time, so their sound man had a perfect tribute space."

Friday’s SmackDown event was filled with tributes to the late wrestler.
WWE has updated their bio for Bray, following his death.
Now acknowledging his death, it : “he left an indelible mark on the WWE Universe and his legacy as one of the most gifted, talented, and creative Superstars of all-time that will live on through the generations to come.”
Ric Flair pays tribute
WWE legend Ric Flair paid tribute to Bray Wyatt on X, formerly known as Twitter.
He posted a photo of Wyatt alongside Terry Funk, a former WWE star who also died this week.
Flair captioned the post: “When Your Great Friend And Someone Your Son’s Age Dies Within 2 Days, It Really Makes Me Reflect & Think About Life! Don’t Take Any Second For Granted! Rest In Peace Terry Funk & Bray Wyatt!”
Meet Bray Wyatt’s father, Mike Rotunda
Mike Rotunda was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, on March 30, 1958.
He is a retired professional wrestler best recognized for his time in the WWE, fighting under various names like Michael Wallstreet, Irwin R. Schyster, and V.K. Wallstreet.
Rotunda retired from professional wrestling back in 2003 and started his own security company with his wife a year later.
In July 2022, he was inducted into the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame.
Meet JoJo Offerman
JoJo Offerman is a professional wrestler known for her role on the reality show Total Divas.
Born on March 10, 1994, the professional wrestler is the daughter of professional baseball player Jose Offerman.
In 2013, JoJo made her debut on Total Divas.
Apart from her career as a wrestler, she also worked as a ring announcer for WWE and previously RAW.
She and Bray Wyatt – real name Windham Rotunda – were in a relationship prior to his sudden death in August 2023.
On April 28, 2022, JoJo revealed via Instagram that the two were engaged.
In a post showing off her flashy ring, JoJo wrote: “A million times YES! I love you Windham and I can’t wait to marry you (even though it feels like we’re already…”
Bray made his debut in 2009
Windham Lawrence Rotunda, widely known as Bray Wyatt, was born on May 23, 1987, in Brooksville, Florida.
Bray was the son of WWE Hall of Famer, Mike Rotunda, and the grandson of the professional wrestler and football player, Blackjack Mulligan.
In 2009, Bray made his debut at the Florida Championship Wrestling beating Brian Jossie.
Throughout his career, Bray competed in an array of WWE events including Smackdown! and SummerSlam.
In 2014, Bray went against legendary wrestler, John Cena in what was named the match of the year.
In 2019, Bray took home the Male Wrestler of the Year award at the WWE Year-End Awards.

Following both live and prepared video tributes in Friday’s SmackDown, fans are touched by the emotion’s behind them.
One fan commented on the execution of the tributes: “I like how gave us a mix of matches and promos that could advance stories, as well as touching moments and tributes to both Bray Wyatt and Terry Funk.

WWE continues remembrance
The wrestling league has continued to honor Bray Wyatt by keeping his tributes alive on social media.
RAW Win
Bray had one under his belt.
He paired with "Woken" Matt Hardy to form The Deleters of Worlds.
They won at the Greatest Royal Rumble 2017 for the tag team title vacated by Braun Strowman and Nicholas.
Bray Wyatt last appearance on RAW
In his last appearance on RAW, Wyatt had a moment with The Undertaker.
Fans feel like this set up an opportunity he can .
One X user wrote: "This just felt like it SHOULD have been the passing the torch moment, one creepy supernatural fellow to another creepy supernatural fellow.
"But now... bray is just... gone. Never will I ever feel the same again."
Some felt that the encounter was fitting: "Looking back if you ask me this is legitimately a perfect moment to be a Last moment you're getting to share it with The Undertaker.

‘He will be back’
In early August 2023, wrestling journalist Bill Apter spoke to Bray Wyatt’s father who told him: “Don’t believe what you see on the internet. But he will be back,” reported.
However, according to wrestling reporter Sean Ross Sapp, Wyatt died of a heart attack.
“I was given permission to reveal that earlier this year Windham Rotunda (Bray Wyatt) got COVID that exacerbated a heart issues,” he on X. “There was a lot of positive progress towards a return and his recovery.”
WWE’s emotional tribute, part two
After the arena sat for a moment of silence, WWE played a video montage of Bray Wyatt.
The video began with Wyatt walking through a lit-up arena holding his signature lantern.
It featured some of his greatest moments as a wrestler, including winning the tag-team championship, the birth of the Firefly Fun House, holding his championship belt, the introduction of Wyatt’s character, “The Fiend,” and photos with his family.
Wyatt was then seen telling a crowd: “I am Bray Wyatt, forever.”
The montage ended with Wyatt’s speech when he returned to WWE. He told the arena: “I can look all of you in the eye and I can say… thank you.”
The final clip was Wyatt blowing out the candle on his signature lantern.
WWE’s emotional tribute
WWE paid an emotional tribute to Bray Wyatt on Friday Night SmackDown.
The show began with a slew of wrestlers on stage as broadcaster Michael Cole asked the arena to join them in a moment of silence.
As the crowd fell silent, the traditional 10-bell salute rang in honor of Bray Wyatt and WWE legend, Terry Funk.
Bray Wyatt’s merchandise sales benefit family
Bray Wyatt was more than a famous wrestler, as he left behind an incredible legacy including four children.
Shortly after Wyatt’s death, WWE announced that all the proceeds from his merchandise sales would go to his family.
On the official website it wrote: “In the wake of Bray Wyatt’s death, WWE will donate all net proceeds to support JoJo Offerman and his children.”
JoJo Offerman’s sweet birthday tribute
Bray Wyatt’s fiancée JoJo Offerman posted a heartfelt message for him on his birthday.
She a photo of the two on Instagram and wrote: “Happy Birthday to my best friend, soulmate, and partner for life. I’m so grateful for you and our family. I love you always.”
JoJo was also a wrestler and was featured on the hit show, Total Divas.

Social media users are sending love to Bray Wyatt’s fiancée, JoJo Offerman on Instagram.
One of her most recent posts featuring Wyatt has numerous comments sending love and condolences.
One comment reads: “I’m sorry for your loss.. love and prayers to you and your children.”
Another wrote: “My thoughts are with you, and I’m terribly sorry for what has happened. Know that the community is with you and we are here to support you.”
A third added: “Can’t even imagine what you are going through right now… all my prayers are with you and your beautiful children. No one should have to live without a father.”
Inside Bray Wyatt’s romantic relationships
Bray Wyatt was engaged to JoJo Offerman at the time of his death and they were raising two kids together.
Prior to welcoming kids with JoJo, Bray had two daughters with his previous wife, Samantha Rotunda.
She and Bray Wyatt met in college and fell in love. The two eventually tied the knot in 2012.
However, while Bray was married to Samantha, he allegedly stepped out on their marriage with JoJo.
This resulted in Samatha filing for divorce in 2017.
WWE legend Booker T finds out Bray Wyatt has died during live stream
Booker T shockingly found out about Bray Wyatt’s tragic death while on a live stream.
The veteran wrestler was speaking to Brad Gilmore at the beginning of their The Hall Of Fame podcast.
However, Gilmore was notified of Wyatt’s sudden and sad passing when he saw a tweet from Triple H.
The host initially did not know how to continue before deciding to read out the post, which confirmed Wyatt had died aged 36.
But as Gilmore announced the news, Booker T was visibly shattered and heartbroken.
He sat motionless for a while before blinking and looking down in complete shock and horror.
