Chelsea fans left astonished as they find out how much forgotten defender Malang Sarr is earning
CHELSEA fans are gobsmacked after discovering how much forgotten defender Malang Sarr is being paid by the club.
Sarr, 24, is understood to be one of three players Mauricio Pochettino is keen to get rid of before the end of the transfer window on September 1.
The other two are striker Romelu Lukaku and forward Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Sarr, who spent last season on loan at Monaco, started just six Premier League games in his first season playing for the Blues after arriving in 2020.
And he is now down the pecking order when it comes to Chelsea's options at centre-back - although it is understood he is struggling to attract interest from other clubs.
Levi Colwill, Benoit Badiashile, Thiago Silva, Axel Disasi, Wesley Fofana and Trevoh Chalobah are all expected to feature ahead of Sarr when available.

Yet despite him being far from first choice, he is still raking in a considerable wage at Chelsea - who have spent nearly £1billion across the last three transfer windows.
According to the , Sarr is on a 100,000-a-week salary.
This is something that has left Chelsea supporters astonished.
Reacting on social media, one person said: "The old board were on something else to offer him that much a week."

Another added: "WE GAVE HIM HOW MUCH!!!!! My a** thought he was on 50K."
A third replied: "This is why the players are running to Chelsea. How is he on 100k a week?"
While a fourth responded: "Someone needs to show me this Chelsea wage bill because who the hell is he???"
Meanwhile, despite another of Chelsea's lucrative spending sprees, they have picked up just one point from their opening two Premier League games.
A 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge was followed up by a 3-1 defeat to West Ham last weekend.
Pochettino's men host Luton on Friday night as they look to secure their first win under their new head coach.
