Tragically, construction worker Michael Jones, 26, died from head injuries he suffered in an accident on the site on the 14 August.

Workers on the site, where work was temporarily halted following the death, have been offered counselling while fans paid tribute at the weekend to the lifelong Everton supporter.

The new stadium is expected to become the heart of an exciting new area for the community containing shops, housing and bars and restaurants.

Borussia Dortmund's iconic yellow wall has inspired the 13,000-seater stand that will host the club's most passionate fans.
