WEST HAM have agreed on a deal to sign Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse.
The agreement comes less than an hour after they agreed a £30million deal for Manchester United defender Harry Maguire.
The Hammers had been interested in Ward-Prowse, 28, earlier in the window but initially struggled to agree on terms with the South Coast outfit.
Now there is an agreement for the Saints star to make a move to London for a fee of £30m.
It is expected that the midfielder will sign a four-year contract with the London outfit.
Having risen through the ranks at Southampton, Ward-Prowse has been ever-present in the team.
