Arsenal flop Nuno Tavares emerges as transfer target for two Bundesliga sides after spending last season out on loan
ARSENAL defender Nuno Tavares is reportedly a target for two Bundesliga sides.
The full-back spent last season out on loan at Ligue 1 outfit Marseille but has failed to convince Mikel Arteta he is worthy of a spot at the Gunners.
Tavares, 23, looks certain to be heading for the exit.
Both Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen are interested in capturing his signature before the transfer window shuts, according to .
The report claims that Arsenal would be willing to let the Portuguese defender leave for £13million.
Tavares joined the Gunners for £8m back in 2021 but was unable to break into the team.

He has only made 22 Premier League appearances for the club, scoring one goal.
Last season while on loan he did show that he was still capable of starring in a top league.
In France, Tavares netted six goals in 39 appearances in all competitions for Marseille.
He had hoped that it would earn him the chance to fight for a spot at Arsenal.

His agent Cesar Bonaventura told that Tavares wanted to stay at the club and play.
He said: "Nuno is still under contract at Arsenal.
"He wants to stay in the team but we'll see what happens in the future."
Tavares returned to Arsenal training later than the rest of the squad due to his participation in the Under-21 European Championship in which he and Portugal were knocked out by England in the quarter-finals.
Earlier in the window Tavares had been linked with a move across London to West Ham.
Currently at Arsenal, Tavares is behind Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney in the pecking order.
