Conor McGregor to appear in Game of Thrones: UFC champion to star in next season of hit TV show
HE’S best known for destroying opponents in the Octagon.
But Conor McGregor’s next venture could be even more dangerous with the Irishman reportedly set to star in the new Game of Thrones series.
The current Lightweight champ isn’t one to shy away from the big stage after putting UFC on the map with his antics, with a potential fight against unbeaten boxer Floyd Mayweather on the cards.

And reports claim McGregor has held talks with GoT chiefs over a role in one of the two remaining series.
A source told The Sunday Life via : “It’s been agreed that McGregor will appear in one of the remaining two seasons of Game of Thrones.
“He was headhunted as it were by HBO, as one of the Game of Thrones directors is a huge UFC fan. They believed that he would be a perfect fit for the show.”
Fans can now start speculating as to what role McGregor will play as two worlds collide in George R. R. Martin’s fantasy world, with the 28-year-old already testing his acting skills in the latest Call of Duty game.
Daenerys Targaryen is finally crossing over to Westeros to reclaim her crown, and a highly-anticipated encounter with fellow lead John Snow is on the cards.
McGregor is known to be a friend of Icelandic strongman Hafpor Julius Bjornsson, who plays The Mountain.
And the professional fighter could be set to lock horns with his gigantic counterpart in what would prove to be a thrilling encounter.

One man who has given some insight into the new series is Alfie Allen, who plays Theon Greyjoy.
He revealed: “[It’s] more of the same, but better, There will be more dragons… lots more torture!
“[Theon] is skittish and full of fear… Basically, and then that can kind of, I guess, evolve into rage, which you might see… who knows?
“I would say [Theon] would feel horrible. He’d feel awful. And he’d see [a Stark reunion] as a chance to redeem himself.”
