A ONE-LEGGED Dundee United fan who used crutches to scale half the pitch and then scored a jaw-dropping goal stands a chance at winning Scottish Professional Football League's goal of the month.
Tommy McKay managed to score the incredible goal in just ten seconds.
The dream goal earned a huge roar from the 6,000 fans after United's keeper Brett Long was left with no chance.
Speaking after the wonder strike, Tommy told the Sun Online: "I thought it was going to be something I'd remember for the rest of my life.
"I can't believe the reception I got; I was just happy that I didn't fall flat on my face.
"I've finally achieved my dream and scored for United at Tannadice, unbelievable."
And now the 20-yard chip has been shortlisted for the Scottish Premier Football League's November's goal of the month gong.
But Tommy faces tough competition for the award and will come up against Dundee United star Scott Fraser, Celtic's Tom Rogic and Rangers' Joe Dodoo.
