  • Ten Hag labels Dortmund performance 'unforgivable'

Erik ten Hag slammed his Manchester United players' "unforgivable" performance against Borussia Dortmund as they lost 3-2 in Las Vegas.

He said: "Yeah, [the game was] two parts, the first hour was good, playing as a team, lot of dynamic, good pressing.

"So it was really enjoyable to see and that's what I wanted to say at half-time, but all of a sudden, they give two goals away.

"They were giveaways and that was annoying. But the last half an hour, it was bad, a poor performance.

"They didn't follow the rules at all, not in pressing, not in building up or when attacking. They were 11 individuals on the pitch.

"That wasn't good at all. I said to the team, I think it was a good tour, but you want to finish with a good performance and there was only 60 minutes that I was pleased with, but not with the goals we conceded because the first one was poor defending and the second one was poor in build-up.

"That's not us, we have to keep control, keep responsibility on the ball and it was the same for the 3-2. That can't happen and it's unforgivable, even if it's a friendly."

  • Fernandes hits back over Onana clip

Bruno Fernandes has rubbished claims he ignored new Manchester United keeper Andre Onana during his side's 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid.

But prior to the game against Dortmund, a short video emerged online appearing to show Fernandes walking straight past Onana as the shot-stopper tried to speak to him during the Real Madrid clash.

And the caption to the clip painted the new Red Devils skipper in a bad light.

It read: "Captain Bruno don't want anyone [to] correct him or advise him. Bruno completing [sic.] ignores new signing Onana 🤯."

However, Fernandes was having none of it as he replied to the post by explaining what was really going on.

He said: "Nice how you could see me ignoring him when I was going to the place we was telling me to be positioned in the corner 😂. Nice try to make it look bad 😘."

  • Ten Hag blasts United stars

ERIK TEN HAG slammed his Manchester United players' "unforgivable" performance against Borussia Dortmund as they lost 3-2 in Las Vegas.

Following a 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid on Thursday, the Red Devils responded by taking the lead through Diogo Dalot midway through the first half.

But a quick-fire brace from Donyell Malen shortly before the break turned things around for the German side.

Antony then levelled things up early on in the second period, before Youssoufa Moukoko bagged the winner with 19 minutes remaining.

And Ten Hag was damning in his assessment of his side's display - focusing in on a dismal final 30 minutes.

"That can't happen and it's unforgivable, even if it's a friendly."

  • Onana BERATES Maguire

Andre Onana LOST IT when Harry Maguire's botched clearance nearly cost Manchester United another goal in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Borussia Dortmund.

The £47million goalkeeper screamed at the center-half not long after coming on the field in the second half.

Individual errors cost Erik ten Hag's men twice in the first 45 minutes, leading to two quick goals from Donyell Malen that gave Dortmund a 2-1 halftime lead.

First, Brandon Williams' diving challenge let Karim Adeyemi move past the English full-back with ease and then assist on Malen's equaliser.

Shortly after, Victor Lindelof gave the ball away just outside of the box and the ex-Arsenal starlet beat Tom Heaton again, striking twice in two minutes.

Onana watched both errors from the bench before replacing Heaton at halftime.

And he seemingly had little patience for blunders as he came on, which showed when Maguire's ill-conceived pass allowed Dortmund to take the ball away from Christian Eriksen and launch a counterattack.

Julian Brandt immediately found Sebastien Haller in the box before Onana saved the German striker's shot with a great save.

The ball fell under Adeyemi's legs, but the 21-year-old winger fired wide it wide.

wasn't relieved though as he immediately approached Maguire, screaming and gesticulating angrily to reprimand the Englishman for the risky play.
