WWE chief Vince McMahon, 77, undergoes ‘life-altering’ surgery with role set to change

VINCE MCMAHON recently underwent "life-altering" spinal surgery, according to reports.

The WWE chief has rarely been seen at events since resuming control of the company earlier this year.

McMahon, 77, retired from his role as CEO in July 2022 amid sexual misconduct claims, which he has denied.

But he returned earlier this year to oversee the merger with the UFC, which will see Endeavour own a 51 per cent stake in the WWE.

According to , McMahon went under the knife last week to fix a spinal issue.

The operation is said to have lasted nearly five hours.

As per , it was a "major, life altering operation".

McMahon's procedure was deemed a success, although his role is set to look a little different from this point onwards.

He already seldom attends events anymore.

And amid his spinal issues, claim that he now largely works remotely.

They add that by working from home, McMahon is able to take time to "get himself fixed up".

The veteran CEO did recently attend the Madison Square Garden WWE Smackdown show on July 7.

It was only the third occasion on which he has been backstage at an event since Wrestlemania 39 in April.
