Amir Khan’s wife Faryal Makhdoom breaks her silence with cryptic Instagram post as pair ‘separate’ amid sexting scandal
AMIR Khan's wife has broken her silence with a cryptic Instagram post after the couple reportedly separated amid a sexting scandal.
The boxing champ and Faryal Makhdoom are understood to be currently splitting their time between Dubai and Britain while she decides what to do next.
The move is the latest scandal to rock the couple's ten-year marriage.
A source close to the Khan family told : "Faryal is taking time to think about whether or not to walk away.
"She’s going through a very difficult time and choosing to focus on her children while she and Amir continue to co-parent."
In an Instagram post on Friday night, Faryal said: "Fall in love with someone who doesn't make you think love is hard."

She then re-posted a poem called July by Heba Nasar to her story.
It reads: "Just like a book, I hope the second half writes a perfect tale where all loose ends find their place."
It comes after The Sun revealed how Amir had begged bridal model Sumaira to send him revealing pictures.
The boxer also tried to meet up with the 25-year-old after first contacting her in May to compliment her tattoos.

He told her in one message: "look good on g string” and suggested she had a boob job.
Weeks later Khan — who married Faryal in 2013 — posted a snap online of himself with his US model wife and daughters, saying: “10 years later.”
He later revealed he was willing to have therapy to stop him sexting other women.
Khan also issued his wife an apology after she asked him, “If you have a diamond at home, why do you want to mess around with rocks and stones?”
The I'm a Celebrity star also whisked Faryal off on a romantic trip to Mykonos in the wake of the scandal.
She later released a bombshell statement on Instagram slamming Sumaira.
Faryal said she was refusing to "play out my marriage publicly" but had released a statement "after a long week of accusations, slander and harassment".
She has also claimed she has been victim of a "hate campaign" and accused a representative of Sumaira of trying to "tarnish" her reputation.
And Faryal addressed how she has "bared the brunt of many scandals and embarrassing events".
She said: "I am being criticised for being Amir's wife, for still staying with him knowing his 'track record'.
"This is the man I am married too and have three young children with. The whole world is aware of his track record, his reputation precedes him, why would you as a single woman want to engage in a conversation with him at all?'
"My focus is my children and shielding them from all that is happening. I am simply a mother trying to do what's best for her children and that is all I am willing to pour my energy into."
Amir and Faryal wed in a £1million bash at New York's Waldorf Astoria Hotel in 2013.
In 2014, they welcomed their first child, daughter Lamaisah, now nine.
They also have daughter Alayna, five, and three-year-old son Muhammad.
The couple previously split in 2017 after their marriage continued to be dogged by cheating rumours.
At the time, Faryal slammed the former light-welterweight world champion for repeatedly sleeping with other women.
Khan hit back by claiming his wife had slept with Anthony Joshua, which the boxer has always denied.
