IT'S now been over two months since Alfredo Morelos was given a rousing send-off by the Rangers fans.

But nine weeks on from his Ibrox farewell against Hearts, the Colombian striker STILL doesn't have a new club.

The 26-year old remains a free agent and with leagues across Europe kicking-off in the next two to three weeks, he's fast running out of time to find a new home before the start of the campaign.

Just last week, the former Gers ace opened up on his struggles to land a new team.

Morelos did, however, insist he was relaxed about the situation.

"I have made it clear I want to stay in Europe and play football there.

"We are currently working towards making that happen.

"No, I still don't have anything and there is nothing close, but hopefully something interesting will come up.

"I am calm and relaxed about the situation. I have been able to spend a lot of time with my family for a change, which has been nice.

"I want to play in a good European league which my family would enjoy.

"I am looking forward to the new season, just as I did every single season when I was at Rangers."

Although Morelos has stated his desire to continue playing in Europe, he hasn't even been in the continent following his Ibrox exit.

After a trip home to Colombia, he's been spotted on holiday in Mexico in Cancun.

However, he certainly doesn't seem to be taking things easy and is keeping his fitness up as the wait for a new club goes on.

Taking to Instagram, he posted a video of himself exercising in the gym, with a cryptic song choice of "No Excuses" his chosen soundtrack for the clip.

The striker has also been put through his paces by his wife Yesenia.

In a separate clip posted on her stories, Morelos can be seen following her lead in a series of stretching exercises.

It'll be an entirely new look frontline for Rangers next season.

Boss Michael Beale has seen Morelos and Ryan Kent leave, with Sam Lammers, Abdallah Sima and Cyriel Dessers all joining the Ibrox club.

Feyenoord's Brazilian striker Danilo looks set to be next to join the Rangers revolution.
