Her husband Pelle is known to fans of the Premier League from his two seasons with Southampton.

The former Italy international scored 30 goals in 80 appearances for the Saints before signing for Chinese side Shandong Taishan.

Pelle returned to Europe in 2021, signing for Parma, but has been a free agent since leaving the club later that same year.
