Mykhailo Mudryk finally scores for Chelsea as new signing’s stunning assist leaves fans convinced Havertz was the issue
CHELSEA fans are convinced Kai Havertz was the problem in their team after Mykhailo Mudryk scored his first goal for the club.
The winger put his side 2-1 up against Brighton as the Blues ran out 4-3 winners in the pre-season friendly.
New signings Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson got on the scoresheet along with Conor Gallagher.
But fans were most impressed with Jackson and the role he played in Mudryk's goal.
The Ukrainian played a one-two with the striker and then touched the ball past a defender to find Jackson, who teed up the ball perfectly for Mudryk to hit a first-time strike.
The 22-year-old struck the ball perfectly to find the bottom corner for his first Chelsea goal.

But fans focused their praise on Jackson, who arrived from Villarreal in a £32million deal last month, while aiming criticism at former player Havertz.
One supporter said: "Havertz never pass and move like that in his life. Tears in my eyes bro."
Another added: "Jackson looks better in this 10-second clip than Havertz did in his entire Chelsea career."
A third said: "Finally seeing one-two passes between Chelsea attackers, Havertz held us back for so long."

And another commented: "Mudryk was trying this stuff last season too but there was no Jackson, it was Havertz and Gallagher 🤣"
Havertz joined Arsenal in a £65million move this summer and he has not got off to the best start in a Gunners shirt.
He flopped in an MLS cross-and-volley challenge and Mikel Arteta is already believed to be considering a position change for the German after he failed to impress in midfield.
