THIS is the shocking moment a Women’s World Cup ace was physically “restrained” by teammates.
The flashpoint came after she confronted a rival who holidayed with her ex-girlfriend.
Ireland ace Ruesha Littlejohn, 33, collided with Australia’s Caitlin Foord, 28, during their World Cup group stage clash on Thursday.
Littlejohn recently separated from long-term partner and Ireland teammate Katie McCabe, 27, who was later spotted on holiday in Ibiza with Foord.
And fans were left gobsmacked when McCabe appeared to blank Foord as the two teams shook hands before kick-off.
But tempers appeared to spill over on the field after Australia’s narrow 1-0 win.

Pictures showed Littlejohn approaching Foord following the full-time whistle as the pair remained behind on the pitch.
She then leaned in towards Foord with her index finger pointed.
And the claims Littlejohn then was “restrained” by a teammate before being led to the dressing room.
An insider from the Matildas said: "Clearly there is still some tension surrounding from Littlejohn's side of things which looks like it spilled over a bit on Thursday night.

"Caitlin and Katie are great friends. They play together for Arsenal.
“They spend a lot of time together. But there's nothing more to it than that."
SunSport does not imply that Foord had anything to do with the split of McCabe and Littlejohn.
Foord and McCabe both play for Arsenal and are “good friends”, while Littlejohn is at top-flight rival Aston Villa.
The Mail adds that Foord declined to comment via her management on the incident after being contacted.
