Man Utd ‘to speed up Rasmus Hojlund transfer bid amid fear move will be HIJACKED by European giants’
MANCHESTER UNITED are planning to speed up their pursuit of Rasmus Hojlund amid fears the move will be hijacked.
The Red Devils are concerned about growing interest from another European giant in the Danish striker.
Hojlund is understood to have already agreed personal terms with United, who have yet to launch an official bid to sign him.
However, Erik ten Hag's side are now said to be preparing their opening offer for the 20-year-old.
reports that United are planning to send their first official bid to Atalanta for Hojlund.
The club are looking to speed up the deal in order to avoid being hijacked by PSG.

Hojlund's representatives have been in talks with the French giants, the report adds.
PSG reportedly entered the race to sign the forward last week as interest grows in the youngster.
Atalanta value him at £86million, having only signed him last summer and their still being four years remaining on his contract.
The Italian club have also made it clear they will not accept a player plus cash offer for Hojlund.

Hojlund has scored 10 goals and provided four assists in 34 matches for Atalanta since signing from Sturm Graz in 2022.
He also has six goals in as many caps for Denmark, prompting interest from clubs across Europe.

United have been long-term admirers as Ten Hag looks to sign a striker during the current transfer window.
