De Gea isn’t the only goalie to be affected by Onana’s impending arrival.

England stopper Dean Henderson is also set to be sold for funds, leaving Tom Heaton as United’s new No2.

Henderson spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest, impressing under Steve Cooper before an injury ended his season.

But with fellow loanee Keylor Navas returning to Paris Saint-Germain after his stint at the City Ground, Henderson is now set to make his Forest move permanent for a sizeable fee.
