Prime recalled in shock announcement due to caffeine fears with warning issued over Logan Paul and KSI’s energy drink
CANS of Prime Energy have been recalled in Canada due to concerns over their caffeine content.
KSI and Logan Paul have tasted huge success with their Prime Hydration range, which was launched last year.
They have followed up their initial product with Prime Energy - although the drink has proved to be controversial due to its caffeine levels.
Canadian regulations dictate that one serving should not exceed 180 milligrams of caffeine.
Each can of Prime Energy possesses 200 - exceeding the recommended limit by 20 milligrams.
One serving of Prime Energy contains approximately the same amount of caffeine as two cans of Red Bull.

Caffeine concerns led Health Canada to have all cans of Prime Energy recalled in their country on Wednesday.
KSI and Logan Paul have stressed that, while Prime Hydration is for everyone, Prime Energy is not to be consumed by people under 18.
A statement by Prime officials earlier this week read: "As a brand our top priority is consumer safety, so we welcome discussions with the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) or any other organisation regarding suggested industry changes they feel are necessary in order to protect consumers."
US senator Chuck Schumer called on the FDA to investigate Prime.

He described the drink as a "cauldron of caffeine" - later adding that it could provide "serious health concerns" for children that consume it.
Schumer, 72, also pointed at its appeal to young people, saying: "A lot of parents may not have ever heard of it, but their kids have.
"That's because Prime is engaged in a vast advertising campaign aimed at kids."
Following Schumer's comments, the FDA have instigated a review into the beverage brand.
Prime have launched a number of partnerships with high-profile sports brands.
Earlier this year they became the official Sports Drink of the UFC.
While last week Prime was named as the official hydration partner of Barcelona.
Following initial reports, Paul took to social media to claim that Prime is not even distributed in Canada.
He said: "We don't even distribute Prime Energy in Canada.
