And has now revealed Henderson has an "agreement in principle" to join Al-Ettifaq.

It is claimed he has been presented with a deal worth a staggering £700K-A-WEEK.

Klopp has signed Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton and Hungary star Dominik Sbozoszlai to bolster his midfield this summer.

He also played Alexander-Arnold in the middle of the park towards the end of last season.

Henderson, who has 77 England caps, knows a move to Saudi would likely end his hopes of playing for his country at the Euros next summer.

England are near-certainties to qualify for the tournament and Henderson remains well in the frame for a starting place should he stay at Anfield.
