Tottenham to play hardball amid claims Bayern Munich have ‘launched second huge transfer bid for Harry Kane’
BAYERN MUNICH are planning to test Tottenham’s resolve with an improved offer for Harry Kane.
German reports claimed the Bundesliga giants had a bid of around £60million turned down last month.
Spurs denied an official offer had ever been received and that if there had been one, it would be rejected as they do not want to sell their talisman.
That stance is set to be challenged with Bayern believed to have launched a fresh approach in the region of £70m plus add-ons.
England captain Kane has one year remaining on his contract so Spurs risk losing him for nothing next summer if they do not sell now.
Though chairman Daniel Levy is still hopeful the striker can be convinced to sign fresh terms.

The winger, who scored five goals in all competitions for Fulham last season, has agreed a five-year deal to join Spurs.
Solomon joined the Cottagers from Shakhtar Donetsk after FIFA ruled foreign players playing in Ukraine could suspend their contracts following the war.
The Israel international is under contract with Shakthar until December, though Fifa have extended their ruling meaning he is effectively joining as a free transfer.
