David Haye labels Tony Bellew ‘a bellend’ as grudge match kicks off big time outside the ring

Heavyweight showman swears live on TV - and Sky Sports reporter Andy Burton tells him: 'You can't do that. Get outta here'

DAVID HAYE labelled his next opponent Tony Bellew 'a bellend' - live on Sky Sports.

WBC world cruiserweight champion Bellew has been an extreme critic of Haye's comeback, referring to the former world heavyweight title holder - amongst other things -  as 'Sideshow Bob'

That was an obvious reference to The Simpsons' cartoon character who has a similar hairstyle to that of Haye.

Haye has previously objected to Bellew's claim that Haye's recent fights have been "freak shows," against opponents who "learned how to box on Youtube".

This time, when Sky reporter Andy Burton's horror asked Haye if he had any message for Bellew, Haye stared down the camera and said: "Tony Bellew, you're a bellend, and you're getting knocked out."

A startled Burton did his best to repair the situation, saying:

"Okay, apologies for the language. Told you not to swear. You're not supposed to do THAT. You can't say that on daytime tv. There are kids watching. You can't do that. You can't do that. You can't do that. Apologies for David, apologies from us. Get outta here. Apologies."

And all that AFTER Haye - referring to Ballew as a "powder-puff-punching chump" - had swung a lightning left hook as the two men traded verbal blows in the build-up their grudge match at the O2 Arena on March 4 next year.

With assembled cameramen ready for the traditional head-to-head, the fighters immediately leaned into each other before Bellew appeared to shove his opponent away.

But eagle-eyed observers spotted that Haye had already landed his own rapid dig at Bellew’s chin.

Both fighters were dragged away, presumably happy that their antics will likely earn the event another 50,000 or so pay-per-views.

However, after their separation Haye let rip live on in his short-lived interview with Burton.

The Sky reporter, horrified at Haye's brazen breach of broadcasting regulations, then apologised to viewers while firmly putting his hand on Haye's shoulder, indicating sternly that he had asked the former unified cruiserweight champion not to swear.

Haye remonstrated with him, but was swiftly sent packing by a furious Burton.
