Arsenal legend Aaron Ramsey in talks over sensational transfer return to English football
AARON RAMSEY is reportedly in talks over a sensational return to boyhood club Cardiff.
The Wales legend is out of contract after leaving French side Nice.
And claims Ramsey is in negotiations with Cardiff as he targets the Championship next term.
The midfielder, 31, began his academy career with Wales' capital club in 1999.
Ramsey made his senior Cardiff debut in 2007 aged just 16, becoming their youngest-ever debutant.
He played 21 times the following season before securing a £4.8million move to Arsenal.

After loans at Nottingham Forest and Cardiff, Ramsey went on to score 64 goals in 369 games for Arsenal - winning three FA Cups in the process.
He then secured a free transfer to Juventus in 2019 and scored six goals in 70 games for the Italians.
Ramsey later spent the second half of the 2021/22 season on loan at Rangers, scoring twice in 13 appearances.
And last term saw the playmaker score once in 34 games for French outfit OGC Nice.

A move to Cardiff would be a huge boost for the Welsh club, who only narrowly avoided relegation last term.
They finished 21st in the Championship, just five points above the drop zone.
And only Reading's six-point deduction for breaching EFL regulations saved Cardiff from going down.
Ramsey's presence in Wales would also boost the spirit of his compatriots, with the midfield replacing Gareth Bale as national team captain after the World Cup.
He has scored 20 goals in 80 games for his country.
And Ramsey will be hoping to lead Wales to next summer's Euros, with his side only winning one of their four qualifying matches so far.
