Man Utd’s transfer for top goalkeeper target set to be HIJACKED by Cristiano Ronaldo’s big-spending club

MANCHESTER UNITED’S move for Andre Onana has reportedly been thrown into doubt.

That’s because Cristiano Ronaldo’s Saudi side are planning to hijack the move.

Inter Milan star Onana is Erik ten Hag’s top choice for United’s No1 spot next season.

The pair shined together at Ajax before going their separate ways last summer.

And United have been tipped to make a £60million transfer offer after David de Gea’s contract expired.

However, claims the Red Devils are set to be upstaged by Al-Nassr.

The Middle Eastern giants were the first Saudi side to make a splash when they landed Ronaldo from United in December.

Al-Nassr have already raided Inter for Croatia midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

And they are now planning talks with the Italians for Onana, which could see United miss out.

Al-Nassr could yet press ahead with a move for Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech too after the winger failed a medical on Saturday.

But it’s their move for Onana which is sure to ruffle the most feathers.

Hijacking United’s bid could see long-serving Spaniard De Gea end up bagging a new Old Trafford contract.

SunSport exclusively revealed he is another player in Al-Nassr’s sights.

The Saudi side are willing to pay De Gea £250,000-a-week to link up with ex-teammate Ronaldo.

But his priority is to remain at United, even if it means dropping to a back-up role.
