One fan raged: "Club should simply release him then."

A second begged: "Just terminate his contract now."

"We should terminate his contract and release him abeg," declared a third.

However, others appeared to feel sorry for Ziyech.

One fan wrote: "Poor Hakim."

A second reacted: "They will later terminate this guy contract, so sorry for him."

Another added: "Unlucky Ziyech."
