Parlour, who loves to his drinks to his followers, challenged his Scottish counterpart to keep up with him.

And by the end of the video clip, the 50-year-old couldn't remember which day it is.

Appearing at Zest Food & Wine Bar, Parlour introduced the video by saying: "I'm here in lovely Lytham with a legend from Celtic - Scotty Brown.

"What a legend he was for Celtic. All the fans will be saying 'Wow'. I didn't play in Scotland but what a legend he is.

"Now he's managing Fleetwood Town and they're back to pre-season now, but Scotty, don't show your players this video, please."

With Zest not having any Jaegermeister, Parlour and Brown improvised by mixing Cobra lagers with Limoncello.

And Parlour then forgot what day it was, saying: "We're here for Jamiroquai tomorrow night. He's gonna rock the place, Jay Kay. All the best everyone - have a good weekend.

"No, what's the day today? Tuesday have a good week."

Brown, 38, then took an exaggerated look at his watch and pointed out: "Wait, wait, wait - it's Monday."

By this point, Parlour was too busy downing his concoction to care - with Brown swiftly following suit.

The Parkhead legend then gave a nod to Parlour's Scottish talkSPORT pals Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist.

He said: "Alan Brazil, Coisty I wish you all the best - I can almost compete with this guy."

Fans loved the unlikely interaction, with one tweeting alongside a pair of laughing emojis: "Peroni limoncello bomb ffs."

While a second wrote: "Peroni & Limoncello that's a del boy drink."

And a third gushed: "that's fantastic. Ray seems like a great guy, and what a life he's living. Would be such a good night out drinking with him."
