Piers Morgan jokes Laura Woods has ‘pulled an Alan Brazil’ after talkSPORT host skips show after Glastonbury
PIERS MORGAN jokingly claimed that Laura Woods “pulled an Alan Brazil” after her no-show on talkSPORT breakfast.
The much-loved host, 35, was absent from the show this morning after spending the weekend at Glastonbury, where she wore a daring top and rocked some pigtails.
Talk TV host and Sun columnist Morgan joined stand-in host Sam Matterface and former Premier League star Dean Saunders in her absence instead.
And Morgan said on talkSPORT Breakfast: “What happened to Laura Woods?
“Has she pulled an Alan Brazil here? What's going on?
“The last thing I see is Laura Woods is on the lash at Glastonbury and the next thing I discover, no offence to you two, but I was looking forward to a nice little chat with Laura this morning and discover she is not there.”

Former Scotland, Manchester United and Ipswich striker Brazil, 64, has hilariously pulled numerous sickies throughout the Cheltenham Festival over the years.
He had a range of excuses, from being locked inside his B&B to eating some dodgy crab and a throat infection.
And in 2017 Brazil said he needed to save himself for his wife’s birthday - which just so happened to be on St Patrick's Day.
Woods announced last week that her final breakfast show will be this Wednesday.

She should be back tomorrow ahead of her last outing, with Morgan adding: “All I was going to say, and I’ll say it in her absence, is that I know it’s her last week on talkSPORT and she’s been absolutely brilliant.
“Laura, in your absence, what I was going to say is thank you for all the brilliant stuff you’ve done over the last three years.
“It’s been a pleasure to be with you on occasion and to listen to you.
“I wish you the absolute best on your next venture.”
