Wyndham Clark is a professional golf player and three-time winner on the PGA Tour.

Born on December 9, 1993, he joined the PGA Tour in 2019.

His first major title came at the 2023 US Open, beating Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy by one stroke after a final-round 70. 

He took home the $3.6 million prize at the Los Angeles Country Club on June 18, 2023.

After his win, he told a press conference that the last five or six weeks had "been a whirlwind".

He added: "It hasn't quite hit me yet."

The champ also spoke movingly of his late mom, Lise Clark: "I know my mom's proud of me. She's always been proud of me, regardless of how I'm doing or what I'm doing.

"I just wish she could be here and we can enjoy this.

"It's been a pretty amazing week cos my mom lived in LA for a few years and I've had some people come up to me and show pictures of my mom when they knew her back in her 20s and early 30s when she was living here.

"And that just happened this week so it was kinda a special vibe all week being here in LA where my parents got married."

He added that he wished she was there so he could hug her.

Lise died on August 2, 2013, at age 55, when Wyndham was just 19.
