Manchester United star Anthony Martial’s telly star lover saved by tractor after flipping car on way to pick him up from training

FOOTBALL star Anthony Martial’s girlfriend was left in tears after flipping her car into a ditch.

Melanie Da Cruz, 25, was going to pick up the Man United player from training when she swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle and rolled her vehicle.

The French reality star had been driving along the private training ground road before she swerved out the way of an oncoming vehicle.

But she swerved too far and fell into the ditch causing her smart car to roll on to its side.

She managed to scramble out the car and sat stunned on the side of the road before a nearby tractor came to haul her motor out at United’s Carrington training complex.

Da Cruz has been pictured driving her smart car on her Instagram page alongside a string of sexy shots.

And in August boyfriend Martial, 20, posted a Snapchat video of him being driven round by Melanie – publicly declaring their romance.

A source said: “Melanie had been trying to get out the of another car when she just drove into the large ditch and rolled her car on to its side.

“She was very shaken up and just sat on the side of the road waiting for someone to come and pick her up.

“She eventually got free of the car which was a bit of a mess and was taken to Anthony who consoled her.”

Earlier this year United striker Martial split from his girlfriend Samantha Jacquelinet who has repeatedly blasted his new squeeze’s behaviour as “disgusting”.

She had told how Martial had even tried to FaceTime Melanie while on an international trip and he was still with her.

He was said to have become hooked on watching French TV show Les Anges — starring Melanie — and mystery numbers started to appear on his phone.

The £58million ace had dubbed 23-year-old Samantha, mother to his one-year-old daughter, as a “grandma” before he began dating Melanie.

He has been pictured out and about with Melanie and even attended United’s gala dinner with his new girlfriend – a year after taking his ex to the same event.

Martial had also been caught out bedding X Factor contestant Emily Wademan in January before he split from his girlfriend.

She has since grown close to Samantha and the pair are said to have a connection.
