Hall has joked that he's ready to take on Chris Bumstead

Hall, on the odd occasion, also shares snaps of his hulking physique with his near 4 million Instagram followers.

The Beast shared an upshot snap of his massive pectoral muscles on Wednesday night.

His accompanying caption, in which he tagged current Mr Olympia Classic Physique champ Chris Bumstead, read: "Move over @cbum - Ebum is coming 2024."

It didn't take long for "CBum" to get wind of the comment, which he responded to with two melon emojis.

Bodybuilding and powerlifting fans were quick to comment on Bumstead's concise response.

One wrote: "You two must work on a collaboration together in one video."

Another said: "@cbum nothing to worry about this, Eddie."

Long-time strongman Hall's tagging of Bumstead comes following his transition into bodybuilding.

The 35-year-old man-mountain, who tried his hand at boxing and lost to strongman rival Hafthor Bjornssonn on points last year in "the Heaviest Boxing Match in History", recently opted to have a crack at the gruelling and demanding sport instead.

He said: “I love moving weights as hard as physically possible.

“Unlike Strongman, where you just move the weight from A to B.

"And you win competitions, you win lots of money.

"No, no, no. In bodybuilding, you’ve got to move the weight as slow and as painfully as possible.

"And you can still win loads of money, so that’s good.”

Hall plans to set foot onstage "late next year".

He said: "I've done the strongman, done a bit of boxing, I was a national champion swimmer back in the day, I think bodybuilding is a great transfer over from strongman."
