WEST HAM are interested in signing Rennes winger Kamil Grosicki in the January transfer window as manager Slaven Bilic is desperate for more creative players.

Grosicki is said to be looking for a move away from France and the Premier League is his preferred destination with several clubs said to be ready to pounce for the 28 year old.

Burnley were after the Poland international in the summer but a deal fell through and now the interest for the player has increased even further according to

The Hammers will want to make a move early to beat their top flight rivals to Grosicki's signature and will hope that the prospect of playing in their new stadium will be attractive enough to lure the Pole to London.

Although this season has not gone to plan for Bilic he is still hoping he can attract players to the club with the long term project that is in place.

Rumours of Dimitri Payet's future still wont go away with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain wanting to make a move for the former Marseille player.

Gokhan Tore's summer arrival from Bilic's former club Besiktas has not gone to plan and it is unlikely that West Ham will make his loan move a permanent one.

Although the Turkish international has been sidelined with injury there is doubt about the players ability to cut it in the Premier League, further proving the frustrating summer it was recruiting players.

The need for a striker is also concerning many supporters with another summer flop Simone Zaza looking like a player suited to playing elsewhere rather than England's top division.

Zaza has been linked with a move to Valencia in recent days as the club want to cut his loan move from Juventus short.

Carlos Bacca was the main striker target from AC Milan but a deal could not be agreed between the two clubs and now it leaves Bilic looking to make significant changes to his squad midway through the season.

If the Croatian is more successful with his recruitment plan in the winter transfer window only time will tell but the need to add quality has never been more obvious with the club sitting just one place and one point above the relegation zone.
