Champions League permutations: Arsenal, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Barcelona are all through… but what is left to play for on matchday six?

While some group standings are already sorted, others have it all to play for... SunSport looks at what can happen in a fortnight's time

THE Champions League final group round is two weeks away – and while some groups are sorted, others have a lot to play for.

Brit teams Arsenal, Manchester City and Leicester are all through, while Spurs crashed out – and Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona also sailed into the knockout round.

SunSport looks at each group and considers what can happen on that all-important matchday six on December 6 and 7.

Group A

One of the most clear cut groups, as undefeated Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal are both already through with 11 points, while Ludogorets and Basel have just two points each.

For Arsenal to finish first, however, they must better PSG’s result in Basel, as whoever finishes first is not decided on goal difference, but goals scored away – so PSG scored two tonight, and Arsenal only scored one in Paris.

If PSG slip up against Ludogorets on matchday six, Arsenal will finish third – and it also explains why Ludogorets, with a worse goal difference than Basel, are third rather than fourth and could go into the Europa League.

Group B

This is an extremely tight group, with Benfica and Napoli both leading the way on eight points – but Turkish side Besiktas are just behind on seven.

The top two go head to head, meaning Besiktas have a great chance of going through in first or second, given they play rock bottom Dynamo Kiev.

Group C

A group that is totally sorted now, with Barcelona through as group winners with four wins out of five, and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City going through in second.

Monchengladbach will go into the Europa League, as while Celtic are only three points behind them, as they lost at home to Germans while only drawing away.

It has been a miserable campaign for Brendan Rodgers’ side, picking up only two points in what in truth is a group with far superior teams.

Group D

Atletico Madrid have had a magnificent time, winning all five of their games to date, and will aim to make it a magic six when they play second placed Bayern.

Rostov in third cannot catch Bayern in second, but did beat under-fire Carlo Ancelotti’s side – and all they need is a draw away at PSV to secure Europa League football.

Group E

AS Monaco are through as group winers, and Leverkusen cannot be caught in second – as Spurs, three points behind, lost to the German side at Wembley.

Spurs just have to draw at home to bottom club CSKA Moscow to ensure yet another season of Thursday night football – something they have accustomed to in recent years.

Group F

A tasty group has seen the possibility of Spanish giants Real Madrid not finishing as group winners – although they are through.

Zinedine Zidane’s side play first placed Dortmund at home at the Bernabeu on matchday six, and they must win to top the group.

It’s tasty at the bottom too for the Europa League spot, as if Legia Warsaw beat Sporting Lisbon at home, they will sneak it over their Portuguese rivals.

Group G

They might be struggling in the Premier League, but Claudio Ranieri’s champions Leicester have had a superb group stage, winning the group undefeated so far.

Copenhagen will feel they can pip Porto into second, as they face whipping boys Club Brugge – andhope the Foxes can go to Portugal and win.

Group H

It is tight at the top of this one – with Italian giants Juventus, with 11 points, almost certainly through as group winners barring a major shock at home to Dynamo Zagreb, who have lost five from five.

But Sevilla, in second, need to beat Lyon who have seven points – but if the French side emerge victorious when they meet on matchday six by two clear goals, they will overtake the Spaniards into second place.
