Watford welcome NBC Sports to Vicarage Road to film exclusive ‘fly on the wall’ documentary
First of four-episode 'Behind the Badge' series will be broadcast in the United States this weekend

WATFORD have invited American network NBC Sports to Vicarage Road to film an exclusive 'fly on the wall' documentary.
The first episode of Behind the Badge will be broadcast this weekend on the channel.
NBC Sports hold the Premier League rights in the United States and Watford say they have given them full access to the club.
A statement read: "Watford FC has been delighted to welcome NBC Sports behind-the-scenes at the club, to be the subject of their prestigious ‘Behind The Badge’ documentary, with the first of a four-episode series set to air exclusively across the American broadcaster’s NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) this weekend.
"Accepted by the club as a chance to explain how it ticks primarily to football fans outside of the UK, it’s been completely open-house for the cameras at NBC Sports, who are Premier League rightsholders.
"Yet this documentary series goes way beyond what happens within the 90 minutes of on-field action.
"All parts of the club are explored to allow viewers to get a real feel for why Watford FC is rightly regarded as one of the most ambitious and community-orientated clubs in English football.
"What makes the Hornets different? How has their truly continental club structure found success in the UK? And how do the people who serve the club make it what it is each and every day?
"Behind The Badge will provide all the answers – driving right to the heart of the club’s everyday decisions and actions."
The move comes shortly after Watford announced a similar four-part BBC Three documentary, which will start on December 1.
Behind the scenes at Watford FC will be narrated by Gary Lineker and explore the day-to-day lives of coaches, players and executives.
BBC Three controller Damian Kavanagh said of the show: “The series will bring a candid insight into what really goes on behind the scenes at football’s highest level, and give BBC Three fans an access all areas pass to a Premier League club.”
