Welcome to Luton vs Sunderland
Luton welcome Sunderland to Kenilworth Road with the coveted prize of a place in the Championship play-off final at Wembley at stake.
Alfie Doughty came off with cramp in the first leg at the Stadium of Light and Luton will have to monitor his fitness prior to kick-off in this one.
Daniel Potts and Reece Burke will be ready to fill in if he cannot start tonight, which would no doubt see Amari’I Bell shift to the left side of defence but if he is fit, Luton will no doubt go with the same side that travelled north for the first leg.
Sunderland will see the return of Aji Alese from a thigh problem, but the fitness of Patrick Roberts and Alex Pritchard will be a concern for Tony Mowbray as they were forced off in the first leg.
The manager has stated that Pritchard should be fit for the game but he is more concerned with the thigh problem Patrick Roberts picked up considering their long-term absentees.
Danny Batth, Ross Stewart, Corry Evans, Dan Ballard and Elliot Embleton are all out for the visitors, while Niall Huggins may be asked to fill in for Patrick Roberts at right back despite the 22-year-old having limited playing time this season.
The veteran manager knows the importance of reaching the play-off final for his side, with the promised land of the Premier League waiting for the winners.
