What happened to ex Tottenham defender Danny Rose and where is he now?
FORMER Tottenham Hotspur star Danny Rose has gone through it all from Champions League finals to relegations.
But after leaving Watford in 2022, the 32-year-old has turned his hand to punditry.
Who is Danny Rose?
Daniel Lee Rose is an English professional footballer born on July 2, 1990.
He started his professional career at Leeds United in 2006.
He later left to join Tottenham Hotspur in July 2007 having never played for Leeds.
But having failed to break into the first team, he joined Watford on loan in March 2009, making seven appearances before joining Peterborough United on loan the following September, playing six times.

Rose then returned to Tottenham and made his debut for the North London club, but was unable to establish himself as a regular player.
He joined Bristol City on loan in September 2010 and made 17 appearances.
Although he became more involved in the Tottenham team during the 2011–12 season, making 20 appearances in all competitions, he spent the following season on loan to Sunderland, where he made 29 appearances.
He returned to White Hart Lane for the 2014-2015 season and began having an impact on the side, eventually being named captain by manager Mauricio Pochettino for an FA Cup match in January 2016.

In total the left-back made 156 appearances for the club and scored eight goals.
Rose earned 29 England caps from 2016-2019, and was part of the London 2012 great Team GB Olympic footie squad.
What happened to Danny Rose?
Rose was paid £70,000 a week while at Spurs in the 2019-20 season.
He was snubbed by Jose Mourinho and frozen out of their Premier League squad joining Newcastle United on loan for the rest of the season.
After being left out in the cold at Spurs, Rose signed for Watford but struggled to make an impact by only playing eight times.
Following Watford's relegation to the Championship, his contract was terminated.
The club confirmed the news via on their website.
They said: "Watford FC and Danny Rose have agreed a mutual cancellation of the defender’s contract with both parties in agreement that their futures will head in different directions.
"The Hornets thank Danny - who featured nine times last season in addition to the seven games on loan he played in 2008/09 - for his service and wish him well for his next opportunity."

Where is Danny Rose now?
Rose is now a free agent and was spotted training with non-league side York City to boost his fitness in March 2023 as he awaits his professional football return.
He has also been doing punditry work for Sky Sports.
