A ground patty of beef, some cheese, fried onions and sauce. Simple perfection.
Well, unless you take a trip to Goodison Park, apparently.
Fans have been left in a pickle at the state of Everton's fundamentally flawed match-day cheeseburger - priced at £4.50.
In fact, some followers of were left questioning whether the beef had been "in the freezer since the 1995 FA Cup final" as they gave the cook a good grilling.
A snap was shared to the world-famous Twitter account - which shares the best and worst of football stadium grub - shortly before their surprise 5-1 demolition of Champions League-chasing Brighton.

Fans certainly weren't relishing the prospect of a trip to Merseyside to tuck in.
And they didn't mince their words as they were left questioning everything - including the club's Premier League status.
One tweeted: "They lose on and pitch and on scran. Championship worthy food for a Championship worthy Club."
Another replied: "A relegation burger."

A third scoffed: "Appears to be about as joyless as their season thus far."
Some were more food-specific in their criticism, as one joked: "The cheese looks like a fruit roll up."

One claimed: "This is exactly why we deserve to go down. I'd be angry if I got handed that at a homeless shelter."

Incredibly, a fan accused the club of committing a "hate crime" and begged for the cook to be "arrested".
