Tottenham fans all say the same thing as Fabio Paratici WINS Fifa appeal against worldwide ban

FABIO PARATICI has had an appeal against his worldwide ban from football partially accepted.

The Italian, 50, was suspended by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) for his role in the alleged financial irregularities scandal at Juventus.

He then resigned as Tottenham's managing director of football earlier this month after having a separate appeal to overturn his 30-month ban entirely rejected by Fifa.

A statement from Paratici's lawyers has now confirmed he has successfully had his ban from all football related activities scaled down.

He will now be able to work in the game, albeit in a reduced capacity.

Despite his partially successful appeal, many Spurs fans online would not be keen on a reunion.

One wrote: "Don’t bring him back."

While a second tweeted: "Please don’t let him come back."

A third scathingly commented: "It would be disgusting to bring him back."

And another emphatically added: "DO NOT BRING HIM BACK."

Tottenham have been linked with Julian Nagelsmann as their next boss, with Ralf Rangnick urging the German to take the gig earlier this week.

And other fans have their hearts set on the alternative duo.

One tweeted: "I speak for all when i say we want Rangnick and Nagelsmann i’m done with the Paratici and Conte era."

Another added: "WE WANT RANGNICK!?!?"

Paratici, 50, arrived at Spurs in the summer of 2021 after leaving Juventus.

He was responsible for hiring Nuno Espirito Santo, who had not been on Spurs' shortlist prior to Paratici's arrival.

Daniel Levy then drove a move for Antonio Conte, after deciding to sack Nuno ten Premier League games into his tenure.

During Paratici's first summer at Spurs, they signed Bryan Gil, Emerson Royal, Pape Matar Sarr, Cristian Romero and Pierluigi Gollini - with Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur coming in January.

Tottenham were also busy in last summer's transfer market, recruiting Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, Clement Lenglet, Djed Spence and Destiny Udogie.

Pedro Porro and Arnaut Danjuma were signed in January, with Conte going on to be sacked in March after his staggering ten-minute rant following Spurs' 3-3 draw at Southampton.

Cristian Stellini was then appointed as acting head coach, but was sacked four games into his tenure after losing 6-1 at Newcastle.

Ryan Mason has replaced Stellini, and oversaw last night's 2-2 draw with Manchester United.
