With Spurs in disarray at St. James' Park, Murphy picked up on a loose ball to fire home from long range.

The attacker had initially put Newcastle ahead in the second minute, before Joelinton made it two just four minutes later.

Murphy ensured it was 3-0 with the game less than ten minutes old and reacted brilliantly to his strike.

He ran off open mouthed, looking almost in disbelief at what was happening.

And it's not the first time Murphy has delighted fans with his antics on the pitch.

Earlier this season Murphy left football fans in hysterics after waving goodbye to Duje Caleta-Car when the Southampton star was sent off.

Murphy also cheekily taunted Manchester United last month and gave a priceless reaction to Fulham boss Marco Silva raging at St. James' Park earlier in the campaign.

So fans on social media were once again left in stitches by Murphy following his reaction to his second goal against Spurs.
